Who is From Moström With Love? An 70 talist who lives just outside Uppsala with his partner and two cats.
Are you knitting, crochet or maybe both? Crochet, but can knit straight and crochet stitches.
If you switch to a completely different creative activity, what do you do? I really love all kinds of crafts, but as a finished second after crochet, there will be cross-stitch embroidery - preferably on linen fabric.
How did you learn to crochet / knit and when did you start creating your own design? My grandmother and mother taught me how to crochet. My first design took shape in November 2017, I went and thought for a long time before deciding to actually test!
What is your best advice for someone who would like to start creating their own design? Dare to test, the worst thing that can happen is that you get scratched.
How does a design idea become a finished design and how do you best put together nice color combinations? For me, it starts as a thought, which I then try to get with the help of yarn and crochet hook. I crochet, write support words, repair and crochet again as many times as needed. The pattern in its entirety I do not write until I am completely finished. When it comes to color choices, I go for the colors and shades I like.
What is your favorite color? Pink and black.
What kind of yarn do you prefer? Mohair, silk, wool and cotton.
Which is your biggest knitting or crochet tab? I crocheted a hat in coarse wool yarn, the yarn in the pattern was considerably thinner so my hat became gigantic!
Which one are you most proud of? The Heart Collector Shawl.
